Despite Reports, Sarah Palin Hasn't Been Booked on SNL

Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin being booked on Saturday Night Live on October 25th as reported by the New York Post, turns out to be completely untrue, according to NBC.
``SOCCER moms and Joe Sixpacks, listen up. ``Get your beer, mooseburgers and caribou dips ready. Sarah Palin is doing "Saturday Night Live." ``Not Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin doing "Saturday Night Live." But the Sarah Herself. ``She has already OK'd it. She's booked. It's confirmed. Done deal. ``Sketches are being sketched as we speak.’’
Cindy Adams  wrote on Friday.
``That story is untrue'', an NBC spokesperson for SNL responded.
So if Governor Palin can’t appear, we can only expect another reprise from Tina Fey, which would make it her fourth appearance since the season began in September.
Executive producer Lorne Michaels, I’m sure, is moaning they won’t have a broadcast tonight.
Considering the Alaska Legislature ruled on Friday that  Ms. Palin abused her power in removing her ex-brother in law from a state trooper’s job, SNL would have had some timely satire to work with.
