Britney: An Accident Waiting to Happen
Britney Spears comeback hit another bump in the road.
The scandal prone singer, who's been trying, without much success, to get her career back on track, was charged with a hit-and-run, and driving with a suspended license, stemming from an August 6 accident, which if convicted, could land her in the crowbar motel for a year, according to charges filed Friday by the Los Angeles City Attorney's office
TMZ posted the video of the accident on its website, which looks like the troubled singer was riding the DODGE em at an amusement park, the way she carelessly plowed into another parked car.
Ever since being jeered at the MTV awards, the lip synching musical star’s career has spun out of control.
Earlier in the week, Spears was ordered to undergo mandatory bi-weekly drug tests for abusing drugs and alcohol by the Los Angeles County Court commissioner.
On Monday, her lawyer Laura Wasser, and management team, the Firm, dropped her like a hot potato, while wishing her well.
So what has become of the adorable former Mouseketeer?
Is her career still salvageable? Will she ever be a seductive pop tart again? Will Madonna ever lock lips with her again? Should K-Fed hire a hit man, and put her out of her misery?
So many questions, so little time.
